Website creation involves three essential steps - getting a domain name, getting website hosting, and actually creating and designing your site.

1. Choose and register your domain name. (Minimum registration period is usually a year; the name is renewable.)

2. Arrange a hosting package; your site will be hosted on secure industry-standard servers. Your domain name should be pointed to the IP of the servers so that the name and actual address on the web will be synchronised.

3. Have your site professionally designed (or create it yourself if you know xhtml and css coding) so that it can be uploaded.
